Breathing In 03:22
It's like breathing in the air. I didn't come for your wealth. No, I came for your heart And the words I have for you Could tear you apart. So don't close your eyes And don't turn away. Cause the answer's been on its way. It's been on its way.

Leslie 04:36
This is where it starts So pick up here and go far For traveling, no wandering. Which way to go A sign will tell you, then know His love will help you get by. This is the dance, the way we move tonight A chance to see what’s beyond the bend A chance to see the other side Leads to everything calling out To everything that’s calling out. This is the road to mark so we can get lost This is the road to mark so we can go far. This is the dance, the way we move tonight You know, you know you’re not the only one. Drive on, drive on to the setting sun. Take me, take me One day you will understand Forgetting the bias in us all. And one day we will understand Yeah we'll burn our hearts down Yeah we'll burn this part down And be refined as gold. This is the dance, the way we move tonight And still we may not go As if we're ever gone But we drive, try, make, and take I don’t have it all, the answers I don’t know.

I've been marching all night to the sound of a beating drum And it has taken over me faster than I can breathe But it's much too late for an escape. You know that it's starting to feel like home It's dark, this night, as the TV lights up your floor And watch as it creeps right out your door It lights up your room, this empty room You know that it's starting to feel like home Because of what you say Oh what's the meaning And what I say What is the meaning Cause its a parking lot It's so full of cracks We will take these words And we'll mend like that
4.
Softly you speak the words for the one to hear, But it’s not like me to be the one who is outspoken. Cause it’s like me to be the one to not say anything at all. But in light of this one and in light of this son Oh in light of this time and in light of this war.

The Call 05:00
Give me a second and I'll let you in Give me a sign and let me know that you care It's cold, but it's summer time I'ts not but here it goes again. The waves will come in and take away The signs will be here all night long There won't be a second chance You can't get a second chance So don't get caught up in this. We get caught up in this. Now we can talk about this all night long But we might not get anywhere. It's not what we came here for But it is what we are fighting for. The waves will come in and take away The signs will be here all night long There won't be a second chance You can't get a second chance So don't get caught up in this. We get caught up in this. This is the way it seems Being caught up in the webs they leave Just the way it seems This is the way it seems Being caught up in the webs they leave In the cracks the darkness sets Where the cold resides Or am I used to it We can talk about this all night long But we might not get anywhere Give me a second and I'll let you in Give me a sign and let me know that you care I should of told you this was not pretend It's like I'm married to this desease Just a call is what I'm waiting for You know that the way is my own Not the way of others So take every part of me And carve away Watch the weight sink in

Dear to the one who will make it this far I liked the breeze and the feel of night time So come, come with me take a sigh of relief This could well be, be our last. Now that we have gone to farthest lengths You’ll soon forget what you’ve seen in time. Here in the silence Let go of the least, and take my case. And will you remember me when you get back (when you get back someday) In light of my own tragedy? Who? Well I ask who am I - well then who am I this? In my own tragedy. Tell me why it's hard to breathe When the only thing around is air? Tell me why is it hard for this heart to beat When it’s the only thing this heart is wanting. And will you remember me when you get back In light of my own tragedy? Who? Well I ask who am I - well then who am I this? In my own tragedy. Well then who am I in this? And will you remember me when you get back (when you get back someday) In light of my own tragedy? You were the only one who would listen In my own tragedy.

When I was out you lifted your hands up to the air And changed my skies And you taught me how. But have I come so far to just lose so much Well have I given up? (no I won’t give up) Will I ever learn? To make a choice to be fully confident But it can just turn out to be another one of those things. Have we talked too much, have we learned too much? Will we ever learn? And I get away only in your voice But to be what you say, what is it to be everything But I still get away only in your voice. To make a choice to be fully confident But it can just turn out to be another one of those things Have we talked too much and have we touched too much? Will we ever learn? And I get away only in your voice, But to be what you say, what is it to be everything But I still get away. With strength like a lion And words of a liar Who leaves nothing to be Tries to steal me away. He'll never leave you in the cold.

Our Fight 01:49
As I fight my fight will you fight your fight? Will you be there still in the place I call home? Now there’s a broken candlelight and the creepy silent night. Oh does that scare you? But don’t forget about the stars in our sky And the coals in our fire How they burn red. Oh la la la la la. So will you take my hand and hold it tight? And will you take my flame and hold it high with you? When the boat is ready, we’ll leave in the morning. Oh la la la la la la.

She finds comfort in all these things Searching for all that comfort brings. Where she opens up her heart to take it all apart Only to fall asleep at night, never making it right. We could count our fingers for all these things And that won’t bring us, not a single thing. And it waits for you now. Breaks you down And it takes you down Will we ever understand What we put our hearts through With this meaningless entanglement? Why so blind, is it that hard to see? How wrapped up in this you don’t claim to be Tell me why here, why now? All this stuff all on the floor, well it has been here for a while. It's time to break free. Breaks you down And it takes you down Will we ever understand What we put our hearts through With this meaningless entanglement? Hold You call it love Well I call it nothing Will we ever understand What we put our hearts through With this meaningless entanglement?

We are like salt on the Earth Thousands of voices in my head How they whisper to this. I'll take all the time to clear a line I find it fleeting If my hearts not in it. Just a soft word that is said Beats the many words that Have yet to appear. And so thousands of voices in my head How they whisper to this. But confidence is fleeting if your hearts not in it. But when the time comes To you you'll see. Will you get out of bed Or still be a sleep. I won’t fear cause there’s enough for me That’s just what I see That’s good enough for me And since the first verse that was said. There’s been no accomplishment that can get you in And to the last words on this Earth They don’t belong to me. That's just what I see. And so thousands of voices in my head How they whisper to this. But confidence is fleeting if your hearts not in it. And to the sound a heart makes when it aches. And so this is where I leave it in your hands Just where I leave it in your hands.

Last Words 05:30
It’s the unannounced Coming out of a broken heart And to make it beat again It's the world’s sound It’s the constant now So that you can just come right in And change its beat again. I know you and you know me Time moves fast it's plain to see So let’s not tear it down let’s mix it up Let’s not tear it down let’s just mix it up I love you and you love me And I need that it’s plain to see So let’s not tear it down let’s mix it up. Let’s not tear it down let’s just mix it up I had a chance, Oh what a chance But I lost it all, how I lost it all So let’s not tear it down lets mix it up. Why don’t you believe me, why don’t you? Come on and believe me, why don't you? Because you said the words to me They were so hard to cover up. Blame it on me Go ahead and blame it on me. Will it ever come up again? Well have I missed my chance? Will it ever come up again? If you have it in you then sing. But I’ll take the last words And I fall well I fall But I take what I want And what I want is what I want And you know that it's your will.

about

In the spring of 2004, Clairmont formed in the unsuspecting town of College Station, TX. Immediately the band became dedicated to writing a fresh and entertaining catalog of songs. Their unique sound and truthful lyrics were selected as the title track for the Esotype Records Compilation One: The Real Life Threats of You and Me. Soon after recording their first track, Clairmont began writing and producing their first album, The Dweller EP. The release in 2005 established that Clairmont would be around for awhile and would continue to write ballads for the new millennium. The band continued to play live shows in and around Texas to promote their new record and started to gain a faithful following. Their live show is one of energy and passion as the band strives to display the image their songs are about.

Clairmont just finished recording their first LP entitled Strength Like Lions under the engineering and production of The Mix Lab in College Station. This new album is a major testament to all of their trials and hard work that they have put forth over the last four years.
